Paris / John Galliano Menswear Fall/Winter 2012/13

This season, John Galliano’s menswear fashion collection was inspired by bad boys of prohibition America. And it’s in the depths of an old warehouse in the 15th arrondissement in Paris, that a fall/winter 12/13 version of Al Capone walks the runway in oversized double-breasted suits and black varnished trench coats belted at the waist. The sleek look is somewhat burdened by shoes with thick soles and metal spikes. Then there are aviator leathers worn with football pants and uniform jackets in tones of khaki and sandy beige that take the spotlight. For the evening, the bad boys become stylish in embroidered velvet smoking jackets.
