Paris / Versace Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012

The enchanting voice of Maria Callas was necessary to mark Versace’s big return to the Haute Couture scene. The décor, a huge golden staircase, is fit for the great operas. Hair tied back in a ponytail, the models are statuesque divas in gowns embroidered with crystals and lace. Inlayed gold metal, perforated leather shorts and jackets, fluorescent mini-dresses with rhodoïd embroideries, they are Valkyries warriors, confident of their seduction.
