Dog Forced Into Overhead Bin Dies On United Airlines Flight
United Airlines announced that it is taking full responsibility for the death of a dog traveling on one of its planes.
The incident occurred on United Flight 1284 from Houston to New York
A woman was pressured by a flight attendant to put her dog in overhead storage during the 3-1/2 hour flight.
According to witness Maggie Gremminger, the woman wanted to keep the dog under her seat in its small carrying bag
But the flight attendant insisted she put the animal overhead.
