Impeccably wrapped gifts are beautiful to behold. But wouldn’t it be even better if we didn’t waste so much paper? All you need is a silk scarf or furoshiki (Japanese wrapping cloth) and voilà! You’ve got yourself a brand-new way to wrap presents with an eco-friendly twist (and a bonus gift for the recipient, lucky duck).
Step 1: Lay your scarf out on a flat surface and place the box in the center, aligning the corners of the box with the straight sides of the scarf.
Step 2: Take two opposing corners and tie a single knot.
Step 3: Take the remaining loose corners and use them to tie two more knots with the original corners.
Who said pretty can't be practical?
