According to CNN, the Voyager 2 probe has entered interstellar space.
NASA's deep space probe was launched back in 1977 on a mission to leave our solar system.
Voyager 2 has now traveled more than 11 billion miles from Earth, and at 41 years, it is also NASA's second-longest mission.
The original Voyager still hold's the record for NASA"s longest-mission, and it was also the first man-made object to exit the solar system.
Voyager project scientist Ed Stone said that NASA still has much to learn about the region of interstellar space immediately beyond the heliopause, which the Voyager craft are now traversing.
