Meghan McCain Spars With Trump After Trump Bashes Her Father
The late Senator John McCain's eldest daughter Meghan criticized President Donald Trump Sunday after he insulted her father on Twitter. Business Insider reports Trump verbally attacked McCain on Twitter for the second time in two days on Sunday morning, about seven months after the senator's death. The president tweeted, "So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) 'last in his class' (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election. He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!" Meghan McCain responded on Twitter, writing, "No one will ever love you the way they loved my father...I wish I had been given more Saturday's with him. Maybe spend yours with your family instead of on twitter obsessing over mine?"
Fox News reported Saturday that court documents revealed that a McCain associate had sent the dossier to the FBI and multiple media outlets. The dossier contains numerous allegations about Trump's ties to Russia, some of which are unverified.
