According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, two top Federal Reserve officials went to Camden, New Jersey, taking a different reading of the US economic outlook by visiting one of the country's lowest income cities, as the central bank looks for advice on how to do a better job. Patrick Harker, president of the Philadelphia Fed, and Federal Reserve Vice Chair Richard Clarida in Camden, which has the lowest median household income among US cities. Reuters reports that in July, the U.S. economy will celebrate 10 years of expansion, the longest on record.
