Two tourists were rescued by the US Coast Guard at Indian Beach, in Ecola State Park, on May 19 after they became trapped by the high tide.The tourists, a woman and a man, were hoisted by a helicopter crew from the Coast Guard Sector Columbia River and brought for medical assessment.The woman, who was being hit by waves, was hoisted first.
