Anti-government protesters flock to Hong Kong park for major rally on eleventh consecutive weekend of unrest
Hong Kong protesters gathered for another massive rally on August 11, 2019. This is the eleventh consecutive weekend of unrest in Hong Kong since the extradition bill crisis began in June.
Protesters began gathering at the starting point, Victoria Park, in the early afternoon. Police had only given permission for a rally, denying applications for a march. However, as the crowd kept growing, protesters flooded the streets nearby.
